Nata dalla trasformazione della Chiesa Evangelica Metodista d’Italia al momento della piena attuazione del Patto d’Integrazione, l’Opera ha lo scopo “di provvedere a quanto possa occorrere alle chiese metodiste in Italia per l’assolvimento dei loro fini istituzionali”(art.2 dello Statuto), con competenze autonome nei seguenti ambiti:
- rappresentanza delle chiese metodiste nelle relazioni ecumeniche (nazionali e internazionali);
- gestione delle proprietà immobiliari delle chiese metodiste;
- raccolta di contribuzioni e fondi;
- pagamento di assegni e pensioni dei pastori e dei diaconi al servizio di chiese ed istituzioni metodiste
La Commissione esecutiva dell’OPCEMI, chiamata Comitato permanente, è eletta annualmente dal sinodo.
È composta dal presidente e da tre membri (tutti metodisti); ne fa parte anche un quarto membro nominato dalla Tavola valdese.
Luca Anziani, presidente
Nato a Roma il 28 febbraio 1972, è attualmente pastore delle chiese valdese e metodista di Vasto e Pescara. Ha svolto il suo periodo di prova pastorale presso le chiese valdese e metodista della Noce a Palermo ed è stato pastore in Puglia presso le chiese di Venosa, Rapolla e Cerignola. È sposato e ha tre figli. È stato membro di diverse commissioni di lavoro della chiesa: commissione giovani, commissione catechismo, commissione discipline, commissione per i rapporti con lo Stato. È stato per sette anni vicepresidente della Commissione esecutiva del IV distretto, membro della Tavola valdese dal 2012 al 2019 all’interno della quale ha ricoperto il ruolo di vice-moderatore. È stato sovrintendente del XII circuito (chiese valdesi e metodiste delle Marche, Abruzzo e Molise).
Enrico Bertollini
Nato a Roma nel 1965. Diplomato al Liceo scientifico E. Fermi di Bologna. Iscritto al terzo anno della laurea in Studi biblici e teologici presso la Facoltà valdese di teologia.
Già presidente del consiglio della Chiesa metodista di Bologna; sovrintendente dell’VIII e dell’XI circuito. Ha fatto parte del Comitato Permanente dell’OPCEMI dal 2004 al 2011.
Per sette anni membro della commissione 8 per mille.
Maria Teresa Florio
Nata ad Alvignano (Caserta) nel 1949, pensionata, è attualmente collaboratrice sindacale a titolo volontario. Membro del consiglio della chiesa metodista di Napoli, è altresì membro del consiglio del XIII Circuito con il ruolo di cassiera. Svolge inoltre l’incarico di presidente del Centro Culturale Gian Luigi Pascale di Guardia Piemontese e di rappresentante della chiesa metodista di Napoli nell’assemblea della Fondazione Betania. Nel passato è stata membro della Commissione esecutiva del IV distretto, del comitato del Centro sociale evangelico di Cerignola e presidente del Centro Casa Mia E. Nitti.
Nicola Tedoldi, vicepresidente
Nato a Parma (16.06.1968), è pastore metodista. Consacrato durante il Sinodo 2019, attualmente presta servizio presso la Chiesa Metodista di Parma-Mezzani.
Da settembre 2019 ricopre l’incarico di Sovrintendente dell’VIII Circuito delle chiese Metodiste e Valdesi. Studioso di Wesley e del Metodismo, sta lavorando ad un progetto di ricerca presso la Facoltà Valdese di Roma per il conseguimento del Dottorato in Teologia.
Precedentemente laureato in Chimica, lavora come Direttore della Qualità in un’azienda che si occupa di confezionamento e logistica.
Ignazio Di Lecce
Nato a Pavia nel 1958, è laureato in Fisica e lavora nel campo dell’Informatica, occupandosi di strumenti software per la progettazione architettonica e il design industriale.
Membro della Tavola valdese, è stato sovrintendente del VI Circuito dal 2015 al 2019.

Methodist Church
Born from the transformation of the Evangelical Methodist Church of Italy when the Covenant of comprehensive integration was implemented, the Opera per le Chiese Evangeliche Metodiste in Italia (OPCEMI) aims “to provide for everything necessary for the Methodist churches in Italy to fulfill their institutional purposes” (Article 2 of the Statute). It operates with autonomous responsibilities in the following areas:
- representing Methodist churches in ecumenical relations (both at national and international level);
- Managing the real estate properties of Methodist churches;
- Collecting contributions and funds;
- Paying salaries and pensions for pastors and deacons serving in Methodist churches and institutions.
The Executive Committee of OPCEMI, known as the Standing Committee, is elected by the Synod every year. It consists of the president and three members (all Methodists), along with a fourth member appointed by the Waldensian Board.
Luca Anziani, President
Born in Rome on 28 February 1972, he is currently pastor of the Waldensian and Methodist churches of Vasto and Pescara. He served his pastoral probationary period at the Waldensian and Methodist churches of La Noce in Palermo and was pastor in Apulia at the churches of Venosa, Rapolla and Cerignola. He is married and has three children. He has been a member of various church work commissions: youth committee, catechism committee, discipline committee, state-relations committee. He was vice-president of the Executive Committee of the 4th District for seven years, and a member of the Waldensian Board from 2012 to 2019, where he served as vice-moderator. He has been superintendent of the 12th Circuit (Waldensian and Methodist churches of Marche, Abruzzo and Molise).
Enrico Bertollini, vice-president
Born in Rome in 1965 and graduated from the E. Fermi high school in Bologna. Currently enrolled in the third year of the degree in Biblical and Theological Studies at the Waldensian Faculty of Theology. Former president of the council of the Methodist Church of Bologna; superintendent of the 8th and 11th Circuits. He was a member of the OPCEMI Standing Committee from 2004 to 2011. For seven years, he was a member of the 8 per mille Committee.

Maria Teresa Florio
Born in Alvignano (Caserta) in 1949, retired, she is currently a volunteer trade unionist. A member of the church council of the Methodist Church in Naples, she is also a member of the board of the XIII Circuit in the role of treasurer. She also serves as president of the Gian Luigi Pascale Cultural Centre in Guardia Piemontese and as representative of the Methodist Church of Naples in the assembly of the Betania Foundation. In the past, she was a member of the Executive Committee of the 4th District, the committee of the Evangelical Social Centre of Cerignola and president of the Casa Mia E. Nitti Centre.
Nicola Tedoldi
Born in Parma (16.06.1968), he is a Methodist pastor. Consecrated during Synod 2019, he currently serves at the Parma-Mezzani Methodist Church. Since September 2019, he has held the position of Superintendent of the 8th Circuit of Methodist and Waldensian churches. A scholar of Wesley and Methodism, he is currently working on a research project at the Valdese Faculty of Rome for a Doctorate in Theology. Previously a Chemistry graduate, he worked as a Quality Manager in a packaging and logistics company.

Born in Pavia in 1958, he holds a degree in Physics and works in the field of Computer Science, focussing on software tools for architectural and industrial design. A member of the Waldensian Board, he was superintendent of the 6th Circuit from 2015 to 2019.
